Games in dynasty legends focus on the battles where you'll spend most of your time. You have to complete missions as if you were playing a musou: you'll fight against gangs of enemies performing combos with basic attacks and special strikes. Usually once you complete each section on the screen you'll face a general who's kind of the final boss in each level. Besides fighting until you can't fight anymore you can also improve the skills of your heroes. There's a city where you can visit different characters who'll give you access to rewards, new equipment and you can also recruit new heroes. Each one has its own fighting mode and their own skill. It's an incredibly entertaining hack slash game. The game does have a bunch of game modes that definitely make it stand out although it may seem like a clone of dynasty warriors.
