It's over for the player who was trapped for a second time. As you play you'll gain experience and you'll be able to unlock new abilities and characters both survivors and monsters. Besides a narrative aspect the game also has an element in which a detective investigates the disappearance of a family under unusual circumstances. You will find out what happened to them as you progress. In other words each round corresponds basically to a hypothetical investigation. It is an outstanding game strongly inspired by the title dead by daylight although it uses a gothic cartoon style that could almost pass for a tum burton production.
