If you're going to shoot your cannons you have to be careful of the angle at which your boat is due to the waves. If your boat is riding a wave the cannon will be aimed at the water and will not be much help. It will be pointed at the sky and have too much of an angle if you are riding up a wave. The idea is to find the perfect balance so that you hit your enemy. After winning the battle you will earn money to upgrade your boat to make it more resistant to enemy attack.
