The Panic Button #NiUnaMenos is designed to work in a familiar mode, where the person has the possibility of sending an alert to predefined trusted contacts (relatives, neighbors, friends, etc.) who can assist in case of emergency. This alert is sent via SMS, indicating the emergency situation and the location where the person is.

Between the functionalities the possibility of activation through a physical button stands out. In this way, in an emergency situation, the victim can send the panic alert to their trusted contacts, only by repeatedly pressing the lock button until the cell phone starts vibrating indicating that their alert is being sent.

Additionally, the application has a new system called "Mode Protesta", which is designed to be used in mass demonstrations in protest. The mode blinks the screen, vibrate and emit a sound.
