Your character is a new member of gon's group so you can experience first-hand the story from the manga. You begin the journey in gon's village, and shortly after, you'll partake in the hunter's exam. But this is only the first step of your journey since you'll reach yorkshin city and even greed island before you know it all while getting to know your favorite characters from the story.
gameplay divides the action into two separate parts: managing your character in neutral zones where you accept missions and interact with other players, and fighting.
